Chamber Honors International City Builders

On August 1, 2007, the Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce honored the International City Builders with the Small Business of the Month Award for the month of June. International City Builders is located at 112 Industrial Park Blvd. in Warner Robins.

The company, operated by Daryl Long and business partner Ronnie Blalock began in 1990.

“With just two people working to grow in Houston County,” Long says, “Barbara Shaheen opened the doors for us.”

Long believes that Shaheen really took a chance on them and has propelled his business by giving him the opportunity to build in Houston County. Along with 23 employees, International City Builders is a well oiled machine and continues to expand.

The company has erected at least 20 structures in the Warner Robins Area, including their office building with 6,000 square feet. They have been on Industrial Park Blvd since 1993 and have since made quite an impression on commercial as well as private entities seeking to build. Some projects include Shaheen Plaza off Houston Lake Road, Jeff Smith Nissan off Hwy. 96 and Byron Baptist Church located at the corner of White Road and Hwy. 49.
